Brief history of vessel: Belle Aventure was first introduced from William Fife's yard in June of 1929. Constructed with two inch teak planing over oak frames, she was built as a fast and strong auxiliary ketch. She has survived over seventy years and is a great example to the fine craftmanship of Fife's shipwights, and continuous maintenance by caring owners and crew.
Belle Aventure is truley a living legacy and testamony to William Fife's insight.
