Vessel In$atiable Merit 25 List of Work Performed:-Suffered a catastrophic impact with a submerged break water -Keel was removed from vessel. A large portion of interior liner was cut out and removed to allow access to inner hull -Keel tower was completely dismantled and reconstructed along with this repair; we addressed in it an inherent problem in the Merit 25 of keel wag-More structure was added athwarth to stabilize the keel from flexing laterally -Also the core in this surrounding area of the repair was found to be wet and partially detached. We vacuum bagged and heated hull to dry it-After drying was complete we cored through multiple areas and reattached skins -When structural repair was completed, all interior components were reinstalled and finished to as previous condition-On the exterior of the hull we reattached keel, glass keel to keel tower, faired all, barrier coated all, and applied bottom paint |
