Vessel My Last One V Marine Trader Vessel My Last One V was brought into have teak decks recaulked and new custom stainless grab rails on aft cabin top. After removal of caulk from teak deck joint, a large percentage of the mechanical fasteners were found to be broken. Proceeded to take up teak off of glass deck and found extensive core damage that was due to many years of the deck sealant leaking. Proceeded to cut top layer of glass from core. Removed all core from the complete deck. Very extensive recoring. After, the core was reinstalled with all new fasteners and teak bungs, reglassed top of deck, barrier coated, then reinstalled, resealed, and recaulked entire teak deck. |
Constructive Hands Inc. replaced section of wet exhaust hose. Repaired mast step and provided new seating on fly bridge. Also located additional leaks in the cabin top and repaired some interior components due to water damage. |
